1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information.
Information you provide directly
- Photos and images you choose to upload or capture for visual screening
- Information you include in support emails or other communications
- Any feedback, reports, or other content you voluntarily send to us
Automatically collected information
- Device type, operating system, app version, language, country or region, and time zone
- Technical identifiers such as IP address, device identifiers, or app instance identifiers
- App usage data, event data, interaction data, and session information
- Crash reports, diagnostics, performance data, and error logs
- Subscription, purchase, renewal, trial, and transaction metadata provided by platform or subscription tools
- Attribution or referral information, where applicable
Screening-related information
- Images submitted by the user for visible skin, mole, acne, hair, or scalp analysis
- Technical metadata associated with app functionality and analysis workflows
- Screening outputs and related app activity generated through use of the app
2. Visual Photo Data
Our applications may process photos of visible skin, mole, acne, hair, or scalp areas selected by the user. These photos may include nearby visible areas if the user chooses to analyze skin appearance, moles, acne, hair coverage, scalp visibility, or other visible concerns.
For purposes of this Privacy Policy, “visual photo data” means photos or portions of photos submitted by the user for visual analysis of skin, moles, acne, hair, or scalp areas.
Our applications do not collect, create, or use biometric identifiers, biometric templates, biometric geometry, identity verification data, or any data intended to identify or authenticate a person.
Visual photo data is used only to perform the requested visual analysis and to display the resulting information within the app.
Visual photo data is not used for identity recognition, identity recognition, authentication, advertising, user tracking, profiling, or training third-party artificial intelligence systems.
3. Visual Photo Data Storage and Retention
Visual photo data and user photos are stored locally on the user’s device as part of the app’s photo analysis and history functionality.
We do not retain visual photo data on our servers.
We store visual photo data locally so that users can view their previous analysis history inside the app and track visible changes over time.
Visual photo data remains on the user’s device until the user deletes the relevant analysis or removes the app from the device.
If the user deletes an analysis from the app, the locally stored photo and related analysis record are removed from the app’s local history. If the user deletes the app, locally stored app data is removed according to the operating system’s standard app deletion process.
4. Visual Photo Data Sharing
We do not share visual photo data or user photos with third parties.
Visual photo data is not sent to third-party artificial intelligence services, analytics providers, advertising networks, attribution providers, subscription providers, or cloud processing providers.
Third-party services used for analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, attribution, or app infrastructure do not receive visual photo data or user photos from the app.
5. Third-Party AI Services
Our applications do not use third-party AI services to process user photos, visual photo data, or user images.
No sensitive personal data, visual photo data, or user photos are sent to third-party AI services.
6. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve Check Scanners applications
- Perform image-based visual screening and display results within the app
- Store analysis history locally on the user’s device
- Support product functionality, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and debugging
- Understand usage trends and improve user experience
- Measure app performance, diagnostics, and reliability
- Process and manage subscriptions, trials, and purchase-related functionality
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, misuse, or technical issues
- Respond to support requests, questions, or legal obligations
- Enforce our Terms of Use and protect our rights, users, and services
7. Photos and Health-Related Context
Our applications allow users to submit photos of visible skin, mole, acne, hair, or scalp areas for informational screening purposes. You choose whether to upload or capture an image.
The app is intended to provide informational, risk-oriented feedback only. Our applications do not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.
If your use of the app involves images that may relate to health concerns, you acknowledge that the app is an informational tool and not a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party service providers and tools to support analytics, diagnostics, subscriptions, attribution, app infrastructure, and product functionality. These services may include:
- Apple services, including App Store and StoreKit-related services
- RevenueCat
- Firebase Analytics
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Firebase Cloud Messaging
- AppsFlyer
- Branch
- Meta SDK / Facebook SDK
- Hosting, storage, or infrastructure providers
These third-party services may process technical, diagnostic, analytics, subscription, attribution, or app usage information depending on the app configuration. They do not receive visual photo data or user photos from the app.
9. How We Share Information
- With service providers that help us operate the app, excluding visual photo data and user photos
- With analytics, diagnostics, subscription, attribution, infrastructure, or hosting partners, excluding visual photo data and user photos
- If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
- To protect rights, safety, users, property, or the integrity of the service

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money in the ordinary course of operating the app.
We do not sell, rent, disclose, or share visual photo data or user photos with third parties.
10. Data Retention
Visual photo data and user photos are stored locally on the user’s device until the user deletes the relevant analysis or removes the app from the device.
We do not retain visual photo data or user photos on our servers.
Other information, such as analytics, diagnostics, subscription, transaction, support, or technical information, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, operate the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect against abuse.
Some analytics or diagnostic information may be retained in aggregated or de-identified form for longer periods.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect information. Visual photo data and user photos are stored locally on the user’s device and are not retained on our servers.
However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children’s Privacy
Our applications are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child under 13 has provided information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to review and address the issue.
13. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, or other control over certain personal information.
You can delete locally stored analysis history inside the app where deletion functionality is available, or you can remove the app from your device to delete locally stored app data according to the operating system’s standard app deletion process.
You may also limit some data collection through your device settings, platform settings, or by discontinuing use of the app.

14. International Processing
Some non-photo information, such as analytics, diagnostics, subscription, support, or technical information, may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
Visual photo data and user photos are stored locally on the user’s device and are not retained on our servers.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the date above and take additional steps where appropriate.
